UNITED NATIONS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Opportunity now exists for the above post to be recruited under the Jeddah Master Plan Project in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Under the guidance and supervision of the National Project Manager, the Administrative Assistant provides support to the Project operations performing a variety of standards administrative process ensuring high quality and accuracy of work, and will provide administrative, financial, and contractual support to the National Project Manager, and will ensure the smooth administration of this project.



SUMMARY of KEY FUNCTIONS:



• Coordinate logistics and schedules for meetings.
• Draft project progress communications and press releases.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial report on project expenditures and finances.
• Coordinate inter-agency meetings and communications associated with the project.
• Prepare contractual documents (consulting contracts, staff employment agreements, sub-contracts, procurement) in adherence with Government and UNDP requirements.
• Monitor and report monthly on activities and expenditures.
• Oversee hiring, supervision, and work activities of administrative support staff.
• Manage and coordinate local inter-agency relationships.


The ideal candidates

• will have obtained a first University degree, business or public administration or any related field of study;
• 3-5 years relevant experience conducting similar tasks; work experience and knowledge of the UN rules and regulation desirable;
• Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages;
• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English,
• Team player;
• Client orientation and accountability;
• and good knowledge of UNDP’s policies and procedures is an advantage.


The initial duration of the assignment will be 2 years, with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds / need.

This position is responsible for the entire cycle of procurement from receiving competitive quotes, negotiating, raising P0, follow up on the timely delivery to the site as per schedule. Price comparison, liaisoning with clearing agent for imported stuffs, providing feedback to the management on the timeline for delivery, follow up the invoices processing status in coordination with the Inventory controller etc Proficiency in JO Edwards’s purchasing module and MS office products are desirable Expatriates with Transferable Iqama can apply for this position.


NIGHT AUDITOR cum INVOICING CLERK



Profile:

Candidates with Accounts background. Minimum 3 yrs experience in invoicing in hotel or hospitality industry and Proficient in MS Office Products. with Transferable Iqama can apply to this position. Knowledge of JOE products will be an added advantage.



COLLECTION ASSISTANT ( Arab National)

Profile:

Should have minimum 2 years experience as Collection assistant in Saudi Arabia Ideal Candidates should have, persuasive and negotiating skills, ability follow up and willingness to travel extensively. ENGINEERING MANAGER

• B.E (Mechanical and/or Instrumentation).
• 10-15 years experience in Oil & Gas Industry, preferably Natural Gas Distribution Pipeline networks.
