Experience/Qualifications/Competencies
Needed
-
Position
warrants a professional & dedicated
mature person with a degree in
engineering & around 10 years relevant
work experience, preferably in the Oil &
Gas Industry Construction.
-
Experience
in Primavera P3, P3E and/or MS Project
2000 essential. Working knowledge of a
broad range of Planning engineering and
Management systems, tools and practices
preferably in a Project environment.
-
The
candidate must be able to work
effectively with minimum supervision.
The job demands a good standard of
verbal & written English, a strong team
player.

Experience in Construction Planning
mainly during Simultaneous operation and
Maintenance keeping in view all
associated HSE aspects.
-
Familiarity
in preparation & review of shutdown
planning including developing resource
requirement will be an added advantage.
Principal Accountabilities
-
Liaise with
Contractors, site construction
management and head office project
services team to produce the
construction plan and sequence,
highlighting the opportunities and
threats posed by delivery and
construction schedules, concurrent
construction activities, etc.
-
Formulation of methodologies for
deriving engineering and construction
plans from engineering design
parameters.
-
To develop Project specific planning
procedures in line with the established
Company procedures, and ensure
compliance.

Provide Integrated Project and
Operations Plans with 90 day look heads.
-
Provide technical support in the area of
planning for input into Field
Development, plant or facility upgrades
or changes, and relating to every phase
of the Opportunity Realization Process,
in terms of screening studies,
resourcing and man-hours estimates
including contingencies and commitment
control.

Liaise with
contractor site management and quantity
surveyor to Prepare 15 day look-ahead
and monthly detailed level 4
Construction schedule.

Progress Reports for Senior Project
Management during construction
activities.
-
Assist in the development, communication
and implementation of the Project
Management System (PMS) and supporting
processes.
-
In interface
with Project teams, Asset/Area
Engineering teams, and major
contractors, ensure that established
processes and procedures for obtaining
Engineering/Project schedule inputs and
services are implemented in the project
deliveries.
